JAM would like to thank everyone who came along to the Mothering Sunday service. The theme was God's rainbow promise.

Emily and Quinn introduced the service and Annie thanked Lynda and all the ladies who prepared the beautiful posies of flowers which were distributed.

JAM has a small collection each time we meet and from this we have donated £100 to Marie Curie Cancer Care daffodil appeal.

Ethan read Genesis 9 8-17 God's promise to Noah and the children performed a drama about The Rainbow. Mae read a poem, 'Mothers are like rainbows'

Moinya, Penny, and Carole led us in prayer

At the close of the service, we celebrated with rainbow cake and the gentlemen very kindly made tea and special coffee.

A prayer for Ukraine

Almighty God, seated above all the affairs of humankind and sovereign over nations and leaders, hear our prayer for Ukraine at this time of war, that lives may be spared, that national boundaries be respected and that forces of aggression be restrained. Grant, Lord God, peace in your world in our time. Through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen
